Mr. Chen Ruijun, 54, is General Manager and Executive Director of the Company. A senior engineer, he worked as Party Secretary and general manager of Inner Mongolia Jingtai Power Co., Ltd. from 2007, Deputy Party Secretary, Secretary of Party Discipline Inspection Committee and Executive Deputy General Manager of Inner Mongolia Daihai Electric Power Generation Co., Ltd. from August 2003 to October 2007, and Deputy County Mayor and Deputy Party Secretary of Liangcheng County of Inner Mongolia from January 1994 to August 2003 (concurrently as Chairman and General Manager of Liangcheng Hongmao Group from February 1997 to June 2001). From August 1982 to December 1993, he worked as technician, salesperson, Section Chief, Deputy Manager and Manager of Liangcheng Chemical Plant. He pursued his Master’s degree in engineering at the School of Electrical Engineering & Automation of Tianjin University from April 2007 to September 2009, majored in law as an undergraduate at the correspondence school of Inner Mongolia Party School from September 2003 to December 2005, and studied inorganic chemical engineering at Inner Mongolia Technical Secondary School of Petrochemical Engineering from September 1979 to July 1982.
Mr. Li Zhijian, 46, has worked as Deputy General Manager of the Company since March 2010, with over 19 years of experience in power production and management. He worked as Deputy General Manager of Beijing Jingneng New Energy Co., Ltd. from July 2009 to March 2010, Deputy General Manager of Inner Mongolia Jingneng Wulanyiligeng Wind Power Co., Ltd. from August 2008 to July 2009, and Chayouzhong project manager of Inner Mongolia Wind Power Branch of Beijing Jingneng International Energy Co., Ltd. He worked as Deputy Director and Director of the boiler maintenance branch, expansion project manager and deputy maintenance head of Beijing Jingfeng Thermal Power Co., Ltd. from November 2001 to September 2007, and as boiler workshop engineer and deputy dust control workshop director of Beijing No. 3 Thermal Power Plant from July 1995 to November 2001. He majored in thermal power engineering at Northeast Electric Power College and graduated with a Master’s degree in engineering in July 1995.
Mr. Kang Jian, 52, has been Deputy General Manager of the Company since March 2010 and Secretary of the Board since December 2009. Mr. Kang has more than 20 years of experience in strategy management, marketing management and investor relations management in large state-owned and multinational enterprises. Before he joined the Company, he was Deputy Director of the Strategic Investment Office of Jingneng Energy Group from August to December 2009. Mr. Kang used to work in several multinational companies. He worked as Senior Manager of the Automatic System Department of Automation & Drive Group of Siemens China from January 2004 to July 2009, Manager of Greater China at Canada’s Tucows Inc. from April 2000 to March 2003, and Assistant Marketing Manager of Albany International Corp. from July 1999 to February 2000. Mr. Kang obtained his Bachelor’s degree in international trade at Beijing University of Technology in July 1988 and got his MBA at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in May 1999.
Mr. Jia Geng, 43, has been Deputy General Manager of the Company since June 2012, and worked concurrently as Assistant to General Manager and Director of the Comprehensive Planning Department from August 2010. He used to be Deputy Chief Economist of Beijing Jingneng Thermal Power Co., Ltd. from April to July 2010, Manager of the Business Planning Department from January 2005 to April 2010, Assistant to Manager of the Human Resources Department from June 2003 to January 2005, and took charge of human resources management at the Human Resources Department from May 2000 to June 2003. He worked at Shijingshan Power Generation Plant as technological transformation engineer at the Production Technology Department from January 1999 to May 2000, Chief Secretary of the Party Committee Office from March 1997 to January 1999, and maintenance worker and technician of dust and remote control workshop from July 1995 to March 1997. Mr. Jia is a senior engineer and got his Master’s degree in project management at North China Electric Power University in June 2008.
Mr. Huang Hui, 44, worked as Secretary of the Board of Beijing Jingneng Thermal Power Co., Ltd. from June 2010 to April 2013 and as chief accountant from June 2010 to June 2013. He worked at Beijing Jingneng International Energy Co., Ltd. from August 2007 to March 2010 and served as Deputy Manager of its Financial Department from June 2009. Before he left the Financial Department of Inner Mongolia Power Coop., he was Director of the Price Management Division from January to July 2007, Deputy Director of the Budgeting Division from January 2004 to December 2006, electricity price specialist of the Management Division from October 2000 to December 2003, and inspector of the Material Deployment Center from January 1998 to October 2000. He was financial head of Inner Mongolia Electric Power Art Troupe from August 1995 to January 1998. Mr. Huang got his Bachelor’s degree from the Department of Finance at Inner Mongolia College of Finance and Economics (now Inner Mongolia University of Finance and Economics) in July 1995, and pursued his MBA from September 2004 to June 2007 at North China Electric Power University.
Mr. Zhang Jurui, 49, has been Chief Engineer since he joined the Company in March 2010. He has more than 10 years of experience in power project management. He worked at the Planning and Development Department of Beijing Jingneng International Energy Co., Ltd. from January 2008 to April 2010. When he was at Inner Mongolia Daihai Electric Power Generation Co., Ltd. from February 2004 to January 2008, he worked concurrently as Assistant to Manager of the Maintenance Department and Chief Engineer of the power generation plant, and later Deputy Director of the Production Safety Department. From July 1989 to February 2004, he took several positions including senior engineer at the State Grid Datong No. 2 Power Plant. Mr. Zhang obtained a Bachelor’s degree in electric system and automation at the Electric Power College of Taiyuan Institute of Technology in July 1989.
Mr. Qiu Donggang, 47, has been Secretary of Party Discipline Inspection Committee and Chairman of the Workers’ Union since April 2010. He worked as Deputy General Manager of Beijing Jingneng Energy Technology Investment Co. Ltd. from June 2007 to April 2010, and Deputy General Manager of Beijing International Power New Energy Co., Ltd. from May 2004 to June 2007. He was Deputy Manager of the Business Development Department of Beijing Economic and Technological Investment and Development Corporation from March 2001 to May 2004, General Manager of Beijing Urban Construction Company from July 1992 to March 2001, and project leader of the High-Tension Transformer Office of Shenyang Transformer Plant from July 1988 to August 1990. Mr. Qiu is a senior engineer and got his Master’s degree at the Department of Electrical Engineering of Tsinghua University in July 1988.
